RIDING CLUBS’ CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009

THE Annual Riding Clubs’ Championships and Qualifiers in Dressage, Riding Tests and Style Jumping were held this year at Laurelview Equestrian Centre courtesy of Robert and Linda Davis in glorious weather, which had continued all week to allow the championships to held outdoors.

Thanks are due to those members who gave their time to help run the championships by volunteering to be stewards, scribes, starters and generally helping where needed, their help was most appreciated by the organiser.

The Riding Clubs’ Liaison Committee is also grateful to the judges, Donald Kear, Joanne Jardin, Judith McBride, Christine Casey and Maureen Lowry. We are especially indebted to Donald Kear who often travels over from England to run our training clinics, which are always very enjoyable as he invariably brings his own brand of humour to all he does.

We also thank our scorers Doreen and Ronnie Beggs, who with great patience look after the production of the results in time for the prize giving.
