Northern Irelands Riding Clubs Summer Camp
27th - 30th July 2011

The Riding Clubs Summer Camp will take place this year earlier from the 27th to 30th July.  As for the past few years, camp will be held this year in Necarne Castle, the Ulster Lakelands Premier Equine Facility. 

The camp is aimed at those riding club members who wish to develop their riding skills, both on the flat and over fences, and who wish to take opportunity of the excellent facilities, and the regular trainers, Margie Lowry and Tim Downes FBHS to further improve their horses training.
Tuition is in small groups, with the main focus being to develop greater harmony between horse and rider.

Apart from the excellent educational benefits of the camp, members enjoy a fun weekend of socializing with like minded people, the weekend promises a bar-b-que, a meal out, a sing song and much general merriment!

Full Camp - £295
The full camp includes your accommodation and all meals except, dinner on Saturday night, no lunch Thursday. All riders’ tuition. Horses stable and bedding, bring your own hard feed and hay.
Tea, coffee and buns will be available all day.

Daily Camp £160
 Daily camp includes all riders’ tuition and lunches except lunch on Thursday.  Tea, coffee and buns will be available all day. If a stable is required for overnight accommodation it will be charged at £12 per night.

Places are strictly limited. To insure your place we require a deposit of £50. The balance will be due by the 1st   July 2011
All cheques made out to Northern Ireland Riding Clubs Liaison Committee.  
All riders must be 17 years and over.
Please arrive before 1.30 pm on Wednesday 27th July.
 
“Aims of the camp”

  • To assist in the development of greater riding skills
  •  To enable riders to take ownership of their skills in order that they may further develop the training of their horses such that performance is enhanced, thus aiding greater enjoyment.

Camp terms and conditions
All riders must be current members of a riding club
All horses and riders taking part must have at least third party insurance cover
The organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury which may be sustained to vehicles, horses, persons, or property whatsoever.
The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any part or the camp programme.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse a camp application without the reason for doing so.
Cancellations: If you are unable to attend the camp for whatsoever reason and we are able to fill your space then a full refund of all monies paid will be given. If the space can not be filled then a refund will be provided less an administration fee of £50 (required to cover committed expenses)
Body protectors must be worn for Cross Country and are strongly recommended for showjumping.
